Pre-event activities and booths open for walk participants -
7:15pm Walk participants gather at the starting point, followed by speeches
8:30pm Earth Hour lights off
8:35pm Earth Hour 2016 Night Walk Flag off
9:30pm Earth Hour 2016 Night Walk ends and distribution of medals / Earth Hour lights on
9:45pm Earth Hour 2016 activities end
2) Earth Hour Penang Night Walk
Date: 19th March 2016 (Saturday)Venue: 1st Avenue Mall, Penang
Time:6:00pm
Distance/Fees : 3.5km (RM65)
Pre-event activities and booths open for walk participantss
8:30pm Earth Hour Night Walk Flag off / Earth Hour lights-off
9:30pm Earth Hour Night Walk ends and distribution of medals / Earth Hour lights-on
10:30pm Earth Hour activities ends

As an Earth Hour 2016 Night Walk participant, you will receive a walk
pack comprising a 100% cotton, eco-friendly Earth Hour 2016 T-Shirt
(available in unisex cutting, adult sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL)
and a medal.
(Note: Medals will only be distributed to participants who complete the walk at the end of the Earth Hour 2016 Night Walk in Penang or Petaling Jaya on 19 March 2016.)

The medals are made from recycled remnant wood and Forest
Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood veneers. The FSC is an
independent non-governmental, not for profit organisation established to
promote the responsible management of the world's forests. FSC
certified products come from forests that are responsibly managed to
meet social, economic and environmental needs.

ReplyDeleteHi Dinie,sorry I'm not the organizer of this event. But anyway according to the event website only T-shirt n & medal(after completing the walk)is given out, no mention of goodies.
DeleteFor Earth Hour 2016 Penang Night Walk T-shirt self-pick-up will be in March 2016 at 1st Avenue Mall.
