Eligibility
The ASEAN Village & ASEAN Unity Run 2015 shall be conducted under the rules of MAF and also a set of competition rules. This competition is open to everyone.
21km is open to participants aged 16 and above as of 31 December 2015.
10km Run is open to participants aged 16 and above as of 31 December 2015.
5km Fun Run is open to participants aged 4 and above of 31 December 2015.

• Participants below 18 year of age, must obtain parent’s consent to participate in ASEAN Village & ASEAN Unity Run 2015.
• Please note that Under-12 year old kids (as of 31st December 2015) have to be accompanied by one parent

5km Stroller Run must consist of one parent with a child on stroller.

• Participants below 18 year of age, must obtain parent’s consent to participate in ASEAN Village & ASEAN Unity Run 2015.
• There are no age restrictions, provided your kid will fit in the stroller!

Note :

i. Category A, B shall receive an e-certificate while Category C, D & E will receive a participation certificate at the finish line.

ii. Participants of Category E shall receive 2 medals, one for the parent and one for child.

Results
The results of the 21km run will be verified by FTKLAA and their decision is final.

Prize Winners
All prize winners must produce their identity card or passport for age verification.
Winners must ensure to collect their cash awards after the race and upon announcement of results. All uncollected cash awards & prizes will be forfeited.

Finisher Medal
i. Finisher Medals will be distributed at the finish line to all participants who completes their run on the event day.
ii. No claims will be entertained thereafter

Certificate
i. E-Certificate will be made available after 7 days from the event day for participants of the competitive categories (A, B) to download.
ii. As for the 10km Run(Category C), 5km Fun Run (Category D) and Stroller run (Category E), Certificates will be distributed at the finish line.
ii. No claims will be entertained thereafter



Race Kit
For Category A, B : Race kit consists of a dry fit Running Tee, a number bib attached with timing chip, safety pins and race guide (if any).
For Category C, D, E : Race kit consists of a dry fit Running Tee, a number bib, safety pins and race guide (if any).

i. Running Tee sizes are limited and will be distributed on FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis.

Note:

i. Please be advised that sizes of the running vest size are limited. Distribution will be carried out on a first-come, first-served basis.

ii. All the race kits without any special arrangement with the organizer and not collected during the stipulated collection date, will be deemed as unwanted and the Organizers shall be at liberty to dispose or re-distribute them accordingly.

iii. Any late collection of race kit(s) without prior agreement/arrangement with the organizer will be charged RM 10.00 per race kit as the late collection fee. So, please ensure to collect the race kit on the stipulated collection days.

iv. There will be NO distribution of kits on race day.

v. For collection of 10 race kit and above, please email your bulk collection name list (full name and IC number of each participant) to icare@hooha.asia latest by Friday 24^th July  2015. Please ensure to submit the authorization letter for each participants listed in the bulk collection name list at the bulk collection counter on the race kit collection day.

vi. Foreigners and outstation runners (outside Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor) who require special arrangement for race kit collection, please drop us as an email at icare@hooha.asia latest by Monday 24^th July 2015.

RACE KIT COLLECTION
●Collection of running singlet /bibs and other entitlements shall be held on (12-13) June 2015, from 8:00am to 6:00pm at Dewan Permai, Balai Bomba Lopeng, Jalan Miri By Pass.
●There will be NO collection held on the event day itself.
●Only registered runners are allowed to join in the race.
●An automatic disqualification if you transferring your bib to other runner
● Race Bib must be visible front\

Starting Point
●The starting point will be at shophouse, Marina Park.
●All runners must be gathered at the starting line at 6.00am, flag-off will be 6.30am sharp.

Time Limit
●The time limit for 8 km is 2 hours while the fun run and kids run is 1 hour.
●The event officially closes at 10:00am on 14 June 2015.

 BAG DROP
●Bag-drop area open at 5am.
●Please keep your personal belonging as minimum as possible and do not leave your valuable items because you are now depositing your luggage AT YOUR OWN RISK.
●Please make sure you collect your bag before the area closes at 9:30am.
●Remember that all uncollected baggage will be donated to charity.

ROAD SAFETY
●Road closure begins around 5.30am
●Please make sure to follow all instructions that given by Traffic Police and Road Marshals
●The extreme left lane will be dedicated just for runners but please be alert on the vehicles passing by.
●You won’t be left alone because road marshals on motorbike will follow every person including the last person.
●Police also will keep on patrolling the race route.

CHECK POINT/DISTANCE MARKERS/ARROWS
●You must collect all the tagline/ribbon or you will be disqualified.
●Distance markers will be placed every kilometer and please make sure to follow the correct arrows.


DRINKING STATIONS
●Drinking water is available at the finishing area.
●Please try your best to throw the paper cup into the rubbish container or you can bring it with you to the finish line.

MEDICAL
●Please do not start the race if you are not feeling well or sick.
●All injured runners will be brought to the sick bay and must retire from the race if ordered by the medical personnel to do so.
●An ambulance will be rotating along the route and standby ambulance also will wait for you at the race venue if you feeling unwell.
● Please inform any runners/marshals/volunteers if you feel unwell and really need medical attention.

 FINISHER MEDAL
Finisher medals will be awarded to all runners who complete the race. Do your best to arrive at the finish line and collect the medal.
