Running With Stars is scheduled to be held on the 1st of March in 2015, at Sky Park @ One City, Selangor. The run would be divided into two categories, 5km and 10km. Both categories are of non-competitive. Schedules of the run are as followed:

6.30 a.m. – Assembly
7 a.m. – Warmup with stars
7.30 a.m. –Event Start
9 a.m. –Session End (5km)
10 a.m.–Session End (10km)
10.30 a.m. onwards –Prize Presentation, Activities with artists and sponsor’s product sampling.

Registration of run can be made at MyRaceOnline (http://www.myraceonline.com) at these following prices: RM60 for the 5km category and RM80 for the 10km category. 

REPC can be done at Sky Park @ One City from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 24th of February 2015 to 28th of February 2015 and 5 – 6 a.m. on the 1st of March. 

Each registration includes ONE admission to Elanne Kong, Ruco Chan and Samantha Ko's Meet & Greet session at Fun With Stars 2015.

Race participation

  1. The race is open to all men and women of all nationalities aged 18 years and above on race day.
  2. Participants do not need to complete any road race or ultramarathon events as a requirement to participate in this event. However, the organisers would like to caution all participants that an ultramarathon is not easy, and recommends that one should have completed some long distance road races in order to be well prepared for this event.
  3. This is an all-night running event. Although the road lights are available, participants are encouraged to practice safe running at ALL times.

Race format

  1. All participants will start and finish at Dewan Tunku Canselor, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur; unless announced otherwise by the organisers.
  2. There will be two (2) checkpoints: one at the start/finish location; and the other one located approximately 2.5km from the start/finish location. Participants must be checked at BOTH points to be considered as completing the loop.
  3. The checkpoints will also serve as support stations. There will be food and drinks provided throughout the course of the event. Solid food will start to be served at 2.00am on 13 September 2015.
  4. Participants are allowed to take breaks at any time during the course of the event. Praying and toilet facilities are provided at checkpoints.
  5. Participants are allowed to bring their own food and drinks, and there will be a place to leave them at the start/finish location.
  6. Participants will have to complete a minimum of five (5) loops within the cut-off time to be entitled to the finisher’s medal and meal.
  7. The winner is the one who completed the most number of loops within the cut-off time. One male and one female winner will be announced.

Runner’s entitlement

All participants are entitled for the following:
  1.      Personalised bib number
  2.      Food (crisps, chocolate wafers, fruits, bread with peanut butter, etc) and drinks (plain water and isotonic drinks) will be served at both checkpoints
  3.      Certificate of participation
  4.      Finisher’s meal
  5.      Finisher’s medal

Participants will be allowed to choose from the following finisher’s meal (to be served at checkpoint 1 starting at 7.30am, 13 September 2015):
  •        Nasi Lemak Suri lauk kerang/sotong
  •        Lontong Mak Yah lauk paru/sotong
  •        Roti Telur Syed Bistro (2 pcs)
  •        Kopi O kampung or teh tarik (unlimited)

Finisher’s medal colours will be accorded as follows:
  •        Gold medal: 16 loops and above
  •        Silver medal: 10-15 loops
  •        Bronze medal: 5-9 loops

Runner’s optional entitlement

The event t-shirt (made of microfibre material) is available for purchase separately at RM20 only.

Baggage Deposit

Rules & Regulations

1)   Run To Gain 3.0 is organized by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia's Faculty of Pharmacy first year students in accordance with Run To Gain rules and regulations.
2)  Completion of the official Application Form, including online registration, confirms the Participant’s agreement to abide by the relevant rules and regulations.  
3)     Participants run at their own risk, organizer will not be responsible or held liable for any loss or damage, personal or otherwise, injury or death, howsoever arising during participation in the race. But precaution step will be taken by the organizer. 
4)    Due to safety reasons, pets, bicycles, in-line skates, prams, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel-run objects are not allowed on the course other than official race and medical vehicles.
5)   Participants must wear the assigned bib number on his/her chest. Participants who are not wearing a bib number will be taken off the course by road marshals.
6)    Once registration has been duly processed, there will be no fee refund for participants who do not eventually take part in the event for whatever reason.
7)  Participants below the age of 18 who are participating in the run are required to seek parental/guardian consent.  
8)    All Participants shall collect their race packs that include the bib number and running jersey on the Race Pack Collection Day. Or they may appoint a representative to collect on their behalf. Note that the representative is to produce their identity card/photo ID upon collection.
9)     Please note that no changes in running jersey sizes and race category will be entertained during the race pack collection.
10)   Once registration has been duly processed, there will be no fee refund for participants who do not eventually take part in the event for whatever reason. Participants are advised to register before the closing to avoid any inconvenience.
11)   The Organizer reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to the Sponsors.
12)    Competitors who accept any assistance from any other person or cheated during race may be disqualified.
13)     In the event of inclement weather, the Organizer reserves the right to delay the commencement of the race. Should the inclement weather persist after delay, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the event without any refund of pre-paid registration fees.

Run For Life is a charity run organized by Second College Students Council 2014/2015 (MTM2014/2015) with the cooperation of Management of Second College.

The main objective of this run is to help raise funds for the benefit of orphans of Rumah Bakti Nur Syaheera. The donation and the participation of people for the charity run will provide support for them and help them give protection to orphanage in our country.
