TERMS & CONDITION

Mid Valley City Charity Run 2015 (“MVC Charity Run”) is organized by Mid Valley City Sdn Bhd (Company No. 102986-K) and Mid Valley City Gardens Sdn Bhd (Company No. 186198-P) (jointly, the “Organiser”).

1.         Particulars of MVC Charity Run :-

Date                         :     Sunday, 22 March 2015.

Time                        :     6.00am – 11.00am

Route                      :     Mid Valley City Ring Road, 5km (plan attached)

Beneficiary Org     :     Malaysian Red Crescent Society



2.         How To Enter

2.1      To enter, log on to: www.themarathonshop.com.my (“Website”) for online registration form. All fields marked mandatory, must be filled by the applicant and all terms and conditions stated herein and in the website must be accepted.

2.2      Each application must be accompanied by payment online of RM53.00 (RM3.00 registration fee and RM50.00 towards Beneficiary Org) being the fee for the MVC Charity Run (“Fee”).

2.3    For purposes of charity, once the registration form is submitted and payment made, there will be no refund of Fee in the event the MVC Charity Run is cancelled or the applicant does not or is not allowed to participate in the MVC Charity Run for any reasons whatsoever. The collection from the MVC Charity Run (other than the registration fee) shall be for the benefit of the Beneficiary Org.

2.4      Submission of an application does not mean guaranteed participation. The Organiser shall be entitled at its sole discretion to reject any application without assigning any reason thereto.

2.5    Closing Date for registration is 20th January 2015. Decision whether to accept any application submitted after the Closing Date, shall be at the Organiser’s sole discretion.



3          Eligibility

             3.1       MVC Charity Run is open to the public.

3.2    Applicant/participant must be 18 years of age and above and must register online in accordance with Clause 2 above.



4       Participation Rules & Qualifying Criteria for Merchandise/ Products/ Prizes

4.1    The registered participant is required to wear the official Mid Valley City Charity Run 2015 T-shirt and a number bib at the front of the T-shirt for the duration of the MVC Charity Run. Collection details will be informed by the Organiser before the date of the MVC Charity Run.

4.2    Only registered/accepted applicant/participant is entitled to any form of merchandise, products (including medal for completing the Route)  and the T-shirt and number bib referred to in Clause 4.1above (collectively, the “Merchandise”) that may be allocated for the MVC Charity Run.

4.3      Each registered participant is only entitled to ONE (1) Merchandise regardless whether the registered participant is accompanied by his/her spouse, children or any other persons (“Third Parties”).

4.4    A participant who does not start within 30 minutes from the allocated flag-off and/or check point, shall not be entitled to the Merchandise.



             5.      Liability & Responsibility

5.1    The applicant shall be responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the information provided in the registration form. The Organiser shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever to check and verify the information and/or consent so given.

5.2    The applicant/participant hereby acknowledges that he/she takes part in the MVC Charity Run at his/her own risks and he/she shall assume full liability and responsibility for any mishap, injury, damage, accident, ill health, death and hereby releases and holds the Organiser, their sponsors and their appointed officials harmless from any liability.

5.3    Where the applicant/participant is accompanied by the Third Parties, the applicant/participant shall ensure that the Third Parties are aware and agree that they take part in the MVC Charity Run at his/her own risks and the applicant/participant shall assume full liability and responsibility for any mishap, injury, damage, accident, ill health, death of the Third Parties and hereby releases and holds the Organiser, their sponsors and their appointed officials harmless from any liability.

5.4    By participating, the participant is assumed to be fit and able to participate and/or complete the MVC Charity Run and where applicable, had consulted his/her medical practitioner.

5.5    The participant shall run on the designated route and observe the signages and/or safety regulations.

     5.6 The participant shall prepare his/her own refreshments/food.



             6.      Rights of Organiser

6.1    The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Route as the Organiser deems fit and any amendments/variations will be made known by way of notice posted on the Website and such other form as the Organiser may decide and the participant is deemed to have due notice of the same. The Organiser shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused due to such amendments/variations.

6.2    The Organiser reserves the right to delay and/or cancel the MVC Charity Run upon occurrence of any event beyond the control of the Organiser including (but not limited to) acts of God, flood, fire, embargo, riot, war, natural disaster or any event constituting force majeure and for the purpose stated in Clause 2.3, without any refund of Fee.

6.3    The Organiser reserves the right to remove any participant whom in the Organiser’s sole opinion, is guilty of jostling, obstructing or involves in act of aggression against another.

6.4    The Organiser reserves the right to remove any participant the Organiser is of the sole opinion, physically unfit or appears to be unfit or incapable of continuing/completing the Route.

6.5    The Organiser reserves the right to use the names, photographs and video recordings taken before, during and after MVC Charity Run for purposes of advertising and/or publicity without any prior notice to the applicant/participant and the applicant/participant shall not claim ownership or compensation for the materials.

6.6    No pets, or any form of wheel-run objects of transport e.g. inline skates, prams, push cars, shoes with built-in or attached rollers is allowed on the Route or in the vicinity of the Route except official race marshals and medical vehicles.

6.7    By applying and participating, the applicant/participant hereby expressly agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decision of the Organiser. The applicant/participant hereby gives his/her consent to and authorizes the Organiser to disclose his/her particulars to third party service providers and/or sponsors appointed and/or collaborated in relation to the MVC Charity Run.

6.8    The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the MVC Charity Run shall be final and binding and no further correspondence or attempt to dispute such decision will be entertained.

6.9    The Organiser reserves the rights to change, amend, delete or add to the terms and conditions of the MVC Charity Run without prior notice and the applicant/participant shall be bound by such changes.

In order to reduce and to cure the roof cause, RUMAH VICTORY will be held in a family oriented day on December 14, 2014 and to increase the important and awareness of family harmony.

Family Day Charity Fair will conduct a charity fun run, together with a fun fair bazaar. The Entire raised up fund is to benefits RVCYH (RUMAH VICTORY CHILDREN & YOUTH HOME), where they can purchase a permanent house as a home provided to the kids.

ELIGIBILITY
i. The Men’s Health and Women’s Health Night Run shall be conducted under the rules of Malaysian Athletics Federation (MAF) and also a set of competition rules. Age qualification will be taken as of 31st December 2015.
ii. The 12KM and 5KM is open to participant of age 18 and above.

PRIZE WINNERS
All prize winners must produce their identity card or passport for age verification. If you are a  foreigner then you must produce your passport.

FINISHER MEDAL
i. Finisher Medals will be distributed at the finish line to all participants.
ii. No claims will be entertained thereafter

E-CERTIFICATE (For competitive categories ONLY)
i. E-Certificate will be made available after 30 days from the event day for participants to download.
ii. E-Certificate will be available for downloading for a period of 30 days from the day that it was made available.

CERTIFICATE (For non-competitive categories ONLY)
i. A certificate of completion will be issued to all participants upon completion of the run.

i. Any online registration that is not followed with online payment will become invalid registration. Therefore please ensure to pay online when you register online.
ii. No refund will be made for wrongful or multiple registration.
iii. Substitution and changing of categories is NOT allowed, so please select the category you’re eligible to sign up according to the age qualification. Otherwise you will have to re-register.
iv.  Postal entries are not accepted.
v. The decision of the Competition Committee is final when accepting entries. The organizers have the right to refuse an entry without having to disclose a reason.

 Yes, you can have someone else to pick up your Race Pack on your behalf. However, you'll need to issue that person a copy of your ID and the receipt. Kindly fill in the Letter of Authorization found at the bottom of the receipt.
